That is not how Siege does things. We believe that whoever brings a company into the new world must have skin in the game: embedded in the business, in the trenches with its teams, and accountable for the outcome, when it goes well and when it does not. We do not advise from a tower while you carry the risk. Our engineer works inside your company, beside your people, from the first conversation, and for every year you want us beside you. This is a partnership, and we are in the fight with you, on the front line, all the way through.

Thank You for Your Subscription

You know how most technology is sold. A demonstration, a contract, a login. Then an invoice, for as long as you keep paying. Somewhere in the fine print, the right to put your data to work for purposes that are not yours. And when the software does not fit how your business actually runs, the answer is a help article and a queue.

The company that sold it is not in your business. It does not know your people, your customers or your trade. It does not lose when you lose. Its success is counted in renewals, whether or not your company is any stronger for them.

That bargain was tolerable in the old world, when software was a convenience. In the new world, the systems you run will decide whether you lead your market. A champion cannot afford to cross on those terms.

That is not how Siege does things.

Skin in the Game

We believe that whoever brings a company into the new world must have skin in the game.

We own the outcome. Our name is on it, and we are in the room whether it goes well or badly. When something works, we are there to build on it. When something does not, we are there to fix it, beside the people who feel it first.

We do not advise from a tower while you carry the risk. A firm that writes a report and leaves has nothing at stake in whether the report was right. We stay, and we live with what we built.

Every real change has hard weeks. When yours comes, you will not be calling a help line and waiting for a stranger to read your history. You will be talking to the engineer who is already in the work with you, who knows the problem because they were there when it began.

The terms are plain. The work begins with the Foundation Model engagement: a fixed engagement in which we write your business down and build its system. After it comes a yearly license, with support and updates. Our yearly license pays for an engineer who knows your business, in it with you. We mean to earn every renewal.

In the Trenches, With Your Teams

Siege embeds forward deployed engineers. It is our founder’s own title, and every engineer we send carries it.

A forward deployed engineer works inside your business: in your meetings, at your sites, beside your teams, learning the whole of it. They talk to people at every level. The owner who set the direction. The managers who keep it running. The people at the front of the work, who know exactly where it breaks. That is how we learn what no document holds, and it is the surest way we know to build a system that truly fits a company.

This is work done in the trenches, with your teams, on the days that go well and the days that do not. It means sitting with the person who has done the job longest until we understand why they do it the way they do. It means being there the morning a new system goes live, and the morning after. Boots on the ground is no figure of speech for us. It is where the work gets done.

Each company has its own engineer, by design. However large Siege grows, that will not change. If we take on more clients, we add people; we do not stretch the engineer who knows your business across more of them. We mean for the person who learned your business to stay with it for as long as we work together.

All the Way Through

All the way through means exactly that. The first year has a shape, and we are in every part of it.

It begins with the foundation: your business written down as your own Ontology, with your way of winning codified inside it. Then your history comes home, and the records scattered across your old systems live in one place you own. Then your system goes live, in the hands of the people who will use it every day. Then agents are put to work, under control, on the steps that should never have waited on a person. And all along, your own people are trained to understand what they own and to shape how it changes.

By the end of the year, you run your own Ontology, with our guidance.

This is not a pencil-pushing position. It is a year in the work, beside you, and it continues for every year you want us there.

What We Will Never Do

Promises are easy to write and hard to keep, so we make only the ones we can keep.

We will never put your data to work for anyone but you. It is the record of how your company wins, and it serves the company that earned it.

We will never switch an agent on and leave it with no one to answer for it. Every agent we deploy will have a person on your side who answers for it, and Siege beside them for as long as we work together.

We will never take money for work that will not make you stronger. If a request will not, you will hear it from us first, before any invoice does.

These are few on purpose. Each is a line we hold for every company we serve. Hold us to them.

The Knowledge Stays With You

Everything we learn about how your company runs is written into your own Ontology, and it stays with you.

One of your own people becomes the keeper of the map: the person who knows your Ontology best, who sees where it needs to change, and who can say so in your own words. We work beside them from the start, so that by the time your system is live, they know it as well as anyone in the building. What we know about how you run lives inside your company too, in someone you chose.

Anyone you trust may check our work, before you spend a dollar and as often as you like after. Bring your adviser, your accountant, your board. The work should stand up to anyone you trust, and we expect it to be checked.

And we hold to one belief above the rest: your organization should never be held hostage by any enterprise, including us.
